Dark Savior (short excerpt)

Dark Savior

     Summary and Notes

     Beth is a known vampire hunter, but she was told by her father who is leader of the vampire hunters to keep her identity a secret, even from the vampires who are after them.     

While on a mission, she is hurt by one of the rogue vampire clans; where she is rescued, by one other than her enemy, a vampire.

Alex Roth,  is not part of any vampire clan, for his clan was killed by the rogue vampire clan; his known enemy.    

His other known enemy are the vampire hunters who hunt his kind to extinction, he goes to dark forest, where the vampire hunters are known to hunt there.     

There he sees a young woman barely breathing, he feels a strong connection to her; as if they knew each other in a past life.  

 He feels a need to rescue this damsel in distress, but what he does not know is that she is the daughter of the known vampire hunter, Nate Hunt who killed his whole family.

When Beth awakes somewhere unknown to her; she soon finds out she is rescued by one of her sworn enemies, but then she slowly finds out that sometimes things aren’t what they seem; for things she learned about vampires, are not what she comes to learn about her dark savior.

She is scared of him, finding out about her, so she keeps her identity a secret from him, even though he told her everything about him; even his darkest secrets.   Beth is slowly falling for her enemy and she knows; he is too.

Alex Roth is slowly falling for the damsel in distress, but he does not know a thing about her; for she is keeping something from him; something he soon learns that he does not want to know; for secrets will unravel and the love they start to have for each might vanish, if those secrets come to light.

Will both sworn enemies come to love each other? Or will there hatred for another take control once again?

 Chapter One

  Beth’s Pov

   As I walked through the dark forest, no sounds could be heard; a mile around.   It kind of felt kind of creepy quiet, where someone might be creeping on you.    

My father had sent me to the dark forest.    I started to hear the flutter of birds flying about that's all I could hear.  

Till, I heard a sound; a sound of quiet moving feet moving about.    I was hiding in trees here, on a mission to find the rogue vampires who resided here.     Walking through the shadows of the trees.   

When I saw silhouettes of people, just standing about; waiting for someone.   I took my vampire gun out of my pocket, very quietly and took a stance; waiting for my moment to attack.    

When I felt the time was right, I aimed my gun at the first vampire I saw, and shot him straight in the heart; not even missing a beat.   The others looked my way, but they were not able to see me; for I was hidden in the shadows.    

As I was taking out my gun out of my pocket; I felt a presence behind me, before I could react; he had me tight in his lock.   I tried kicking him from behind, but to my surprise; he counteracted  my attack.

It was no use, I was in my enemy's grip, he had me.     I felt useless; like all those times I practiced for this mission; came undone, before my eyes.  

 I felt him push my body to the floor, holding me down;  as  his weight kept me down.  Looking in my enemy's eyes; I felt his intent to kill me right here and now.

I tried pushing him off, but his weight was holding me down.   

 His face knelt to mine and he breathed into me.    " Ah! You smell so fresh and lovely! I wonder, how you would taste?!" he said to me, as he knelt to my neck and was about to strike the deadly bite.

I closed my eyes, and waited for my all-timing death.  

When he was pushed away by another presence, I could not see because the vampire had slammed my head to the ground; making me slowly lose consciousness.  

 I felt the darkness; slowly overwhelming me, and I welcomed it like an old friend.

  Alex Roth's Pov

When I had pushed off one of the rogue vampires of a human girl; I felt an overwhelming want to protect her with all my life.

I do not know what made me do this, but something pulled  me to her; as if I knew her, once long ago.

Once I killed the one rogue vampire, the others ran away; where I could not go.   I looked at the unconscious girl laying on the floor; she lay still as if in a deep sleep.  

She must be really stupid, to venture out here; when all humans knew the vampires ventured here.   

  I sighed and pulled her up; ran towards the path to where my home resided.   When I came to my home, deep in the dark forest, I slowly opened the door.

Walking in the dark, and turned on the lights, walked to the couch and slowly put her down.

After I had done that, I walked towards my bedroom and went to sleep on my bed, finally resting for the night.  

As I was drifting off to sleep, I thought of the girl who was now lying unconscious somewhere in my home.  I could not leave her like that. But, still I could feel the tires surround me, throughout my body.  

Soon I fell asleep.

 Beth's Pov

I awoke and felt the pain from the blow to my head. I could feel the darkness claiming me once again.

When I awoke again, I realized there was someone there, hidden in the darkness.  He spoke softly to me, as if I was a kid.  " Are you alright?"  He asked me, in a concerned way.

" Yeah, my head just really hurts now, " I said, rubbing my head, trying to relieve the pain, in some possible way.

I heard him walking somewhere, and when he got back, he had a bottle of pills in his hands and a glass of water, in the other.   " Here, this might help, "  he said, as he handed me the pills and put the glass of water down on a small table beside me.

I took out a couple of pills and swallowed the pills and gulped down the glass of water as well.  I felt the pain, swelling down and felt the medicine's effect right away.  

Soon I fell back to sleep, letting the darkness take me once more, again.

Finally done with chapter 5 and excited for my birthday and school starting soon.

Throughout the weeks,  I was trying to finish chapter 5 and today I had finally finished the chapter and now I am putting it on hold when school starts and when I do not have anytime to write.

I should tell you that it probably be on hold for awhile.  The classes will take all my time and I won't have the energy to write at all.  Probably, you guys might have to wait a long time.

Finally finished with Chapter 5 of my story and hope to start with the next chapter soon. In a couple weeks I will update and continue to my goal of finishing this story, once and for all. Hope you all enjoy what I have written and wait on for upcoming updates.

Not much, but excited that I'm on my way to finish my novel and starting school soon.

So, far I finished with four chapters of my book and awaiting for school to start but then my birthday week is coming up so that is something to be excited about.

Also, not much is happening right now just my winter break, me, starting and trying to finish my novel.   Also, my birthday week is coming soon and school starting right after my birthday week.

First Blog post

Hello you guys,

My name is Ann,

This is my first attempt at having a blog for myself and my many books I written so far.  Right now, I am at break from school and will go back to new classes soon.

I am really excited go back and see everyone again.  Not everyone but maybe some people who I come to know was friends and some who are mere people who I can tolerate on a daily basis.

This break, I been working on my new book, "Untouched by Darkness', which is going to be part of a mini two or three book series but I am not sure yet.
